Following the film screening of Holding Our Own: Embracing the End of Life, the VNA’s hospice chorus will sing a brief sampling of the musical repertoire they offer to those who are dying and their families throughout Chittenden & Grande Isle Counties. Their music includes upbeat favorites, folk music, songs from other countries, hymns and chants.

"Music can open hearts and quiet fears." The Noyana Singers are trained hospice volunteers and singers who offer songs of comfort at the bedsides of those who are nearing the end of life. Music can open hearts, quiet fears and provide a sacred space - one of reverence for the patient and his/her family. | | Noyana sings hymns, folk music, old-time tunes, songs from various cultures and ancient sacred rounds.
