Connecting Generations with Stories

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this fun, interactive session led by founder Geoffrey Gevalt and teacher Kathy Folley of the Young Writer’s Project, participants are encouraged to bring someone of a different generation. (If you don’t have one to bring, not to worry, we will pair you up!) We’ll help you draw out of each other a series of stories until you find one that really strikes your fancy. Then you’ll write it and share it with your other-generational counterpart, make a revision or two and, if you like, present to the group. YWP will curate the stories, and, with participants’ permission, the very best will be shared with larger audiences. Don’t miss this fun, illuminating session that will help you polish your skills with interviewing, listening, writing and more.
